Directions to River Run Plantation:

From intersection of Highway 211 and Highway 17 if coming from Myrtle

Beach Airport. Heading north on Hwy. 17, turn right on Hwy. 211

(towards Southport). At the second light, approximately 1.5 miles, turn right into the

Winding River Plantation (signs for Virginia Williamson Elementary and the

North Carolina Golf Course). Stay on road winding through plantation

until it deadends at Sunset Harbor road, turn right. Go 1.9 miles

(white fence is River Run Plantation). Turn right into plantation on

Folly Road. Island Drive is the 2nd street on the right and runs right

in front of the pool and clubhouse. Wind down to 3165 Island Drive -

house is on the left side right before the lake on the right. Numbers

on the mailbox.

From the House

Directions to the intercoastal pier:

Left out of driveway to the end of the street. Turn left again and go to the end of the street. Turn left. You'll see the water behind the houses on the right. Continue straight out across the bridge and out onto the pier.


Directions to the boat dock
(if boating, beware of low tide):

To get to the Boat Launch, turn left off Folly Drive onto Marina drive. At the fork, stay to the right on Marina Drive to the end.
